Musashi, it hardly needs pointing out, traveled extensively and widely during his life. Some believe there was not a province in the great realm of Japan that was not visited and somehow touched by Musashi on his many travels. These pages seek—for the first time in the English language—to comprehensively reconstruct Musashi’s physical path through life, i.e., to trace the many places visited by Musashi on his eventful and fascinating journey.
